Aperam-Tekna

Following the announcement of the creation of ImphyTek PowdersTM SAS in November 2019 at Formnext Fair in Frankfurt, Aperam and Tekna are now structuring the new company. Aperam and Tekna have jointly submitted their notification of ImphyTek PowdersTM SAS to the EU Commission and are pleased to nominate Ellen Brooke as CEO of the new company.


3 February 2020 - After pre-notification discussions and short form CO filing, Aperam and Tekna are in the process of obtaining the European Commission clearance to create a full function joint venture combining their expertise in Nickel and Specialty Alloy spherical powders for advanced additive manufacturing technologies.  Upon EU Commission clearance, the new company, ImphyTek PowdersTM SAS will be based in France and market the jointly developed high quality spherical metal powders to meet the growing needs of additive manufacturing and metal injection molding in all industrial segments and therefore serve the most demanding local and global customer specifications.

Aperam and Tekna are also pleased to nominate Ellen Brooke as CEO of ImphyTek PowdersTM SAS. Ellen Brooke holds a Bachelor of Law from Hull University (UK). She is a senior executive and has demonstrated strong capabilities in achieving revenue and business growth objectives within multiple environments, both in Europe and South America. She has extensive experience in sales and manufacturing, with a deep understanding of critical business drivers in multiple markets and industries.
