Induction coupled plasma coating system

TEK SPRAY 80

The ideal solution for high-performance coatings

System Overview

TEK SPRAY 80

The vacuum thermal spray coating chamber is water-cooled with a double wall, stainless steel interior. The unit is designed to operate with non-corrosive gas. The chamber which is mounted horizontally is to be equipped with a hinged front door, a fixed back plate, a top opening for the mounting of the RF plasma torch, a bottom port for gas exhaust, and two quartz observation windows.

~900 mm

~300 mm diam with thickness of 1 cm

The unit is equipped with a versatile 3 axis robotized manipulator to move and rotate the substrate below the plasma discharge under positive or vacuum pressure environment:

  • Lateral translation over given stroke at a variable speed.
  • Rotation around its horizontal axis with a variable speed.
  • Vertical translation allowing for the adjustment of the substrate. (adjustable manually prior to operation)
  • The overspray powder will be collected in bottom canister and the cyclone while the powder collector separates possible fines from the gas exhaust. The collector will be equipped with continuous pulse cleaning system to permit longer substrate depositions.

System Overview

TEK SPHERO-15

TekSphero-15 is a compact yet powerful spheroidization system engineered to support advanced R&D and small-scale production. Designed for versatility, it delivers highly spherical powders with excellent purity and consistency, while adapting seamlessly to evolving operational needs.

Engineered for material innovation and laboratory-scale production, TekSphero-15 enables the development and optimization of spherical powders for research, feasibility studies, and early-stage qualification.

Designed for ease of maintenance and operation, the system supports rapid changeovers between different materials and sample batches—making it ideal for multi-project R&D environments.

A flexible R&D platform that allows users to refine processes at small scale and prepare for smooth transition toward industrial production. Powder handling is performed under a ventilated hood, and the system can be easily dismantled and cleaned. Exchangeable reactors enable nanopowder synthesis or coating configurations.
