With its semiconductor properties, Silicon is widely used in the electronic industry as well as in the solar cell industry.

Tekna’ spheroidal and densified TEKMAT™ Silicon Powder offers higher density, higher purity and better flow-ability than standard silicon powder making it an excellent precursor for applications requiring high quality silicon powder.

Various size fractions are available from a few microns to several hundreds microns. Typical size fractions are the following:

  • -60+120 mesh (-250+125 µm)
  • -120+230 mesh (-125+63 µm)
  • -170+325 mesh (-90+45 µm)

Size fractions may also be customized to meet customer’s technical criteria for a specific application.
